HEAVY ODOR & STAIN CONTAMINATION

At this level, the contamination has penetrated the pad & possibly the sub-floor surface.

Our Procedure:

1. Blacklight inspection at nighttime to locate each spot.
2. Mark each spot with masking tape to be treated the next day.
3. The carpet and pad is flooded with a hot solution that combines the power of natural oxygen with biological power of odor modification to destroy odorous materials without leaving a strong artificial fragrance behind.
4. After 30-45 minutes of dwell time, the product is extracted with a flood tool along with all the urine and odors.
5. Setup air movers to dry the carpet and pad.
6. The carpet is steam cleaned, usually 2-3 days later, when the carpet and pad has dried.

Please note the following:

1. After odor treatment and carpet cleaning, the urine will still show up underneath the blacklight even if the odor and stain is gone under normal light – urine penetrates the dye sites of the carpet fibers and is permanent underneath the blacklight.
2. It will take less than 24 hours to dry the carpet and usually 48-72 hours to dry the pad. Please be aware that the fans are noisy and must run 24 hours per day until the pad is dry.
3. This procedure does not treat the subfloor for odor.
4. A percentage of odor removal will be guaranteed in writing based on the severity of the odor, treatment method, along with other factors. Even though many cleaners claim to do the same thing, there is a vast difference in their level of success.

1. Blacklight inspection at night:                 $150.00 (This is done after normal business hours and is priced accordingly - It must be dark for the blacklight to work)
2. Mark areas with masking tape - After hours $100.00 per hour

Depending on the grade and condition of your carpet it may not be worth saving.

You can save money by locating the spots with a blacklight yourself and marking the areas of contamination with masking tape (steps 1 & 2). The remainder of the procedure will be done by us.  You can purchase a "Urine Finder" (uv blacklight) through urine off.
